The British Trust for Ornithology (BTO) is a UK charity dedicated to bird research and conservation. They combine professional scientists with volunteers to monitor bird populations, conduct scientific studies, and provide evidence-based conservation advice. Their work helps track the health of bird populations and informs conservation efforts across the UK and internationally.
